Despite my nonexistent culinary education I managed to establish myself as a humble self-taught cook for a lawyers office since April 2014 and found some new playgrounds ever since, i.e. on other occasions such as the Restaurant Day, as well as at the Kazerne Gallery & Restaurant during the Dutch Design Week 2014 in Eindhoven. And right now I’m in the midst of organizing the VIENNA FOOD WEEK , so stay tuned! Following an overview of impressions.

I was working with the lovely team of the Kazerne for the whole period of the Dutch Design Week 2014. It was an awe-inspiring experience and despite the short term of my presence I’ll be forever grateful for the amazing and welcoming work atmosphere. I’ve met a overwhelming number of great souls and am looking forward to our cooperation for the upcoming Design Week 🙂

Food is more than just nutrition – it can be seen through the lens of science, ethics, culture and much more. But most of all it is connected to our dearest (childhood) memories and gives meaning to stories that we tell day in and out. The dishes that are designed for this event will attempt to enact those memories and stories.
